Nendaz, called Haute Nendaz in the past, is located in the well-known 4 Valleys ski zone.  If you purchase a lift pass you will have access to Veysonnaz, Verbier and Thyon 2000 as well. You can buy a ticket just for Nendaz, of course - it is quite impressive even on its own. Its gentle slopes are especially appropriate for beginners. The place is a paradise for expert skiers. Nendaz also offers an exciting nightlife, good quality accommodations and great restaurants. Geneva is the best airport if you want to reach Nendaz. If you are traveling by car it is up the hill from Martigny and Sion.
