Flims Laax Falera Attractions

Flimserstein Peak
A majestic natural attraction near Flims is the . It takes between 4 and 5 hours to climb. The route goes from Flims through Fidaz and Bargis, which lies at an altitude of 1,550 m. The next stop is Alp Sura. The hike is around 3 hours up to this point. Later one crosses the quaint alpine pastures and reaches the peak. The last stretch takes between 1 and 2 hours to cover. From the peak you will relish views of the Ringelspitz to the north.


Grand Canyon Express
If you perceive rail transportation as too conventional, a nice alternative is the postal coach of the Grand Canyon Express. It offers a two-way connection between Chur and Laax and runs from June to October on a daily basis. The coach crosses the Grand Canyon of the Vorderrhein, with the road between Bonaduz and Laax winding down to Vorderrhein Gorge. There are views of the river glistening below. Travelers spend the night in the Rancho hotel in Laax.
Visitors dispose of four coaches, with room for eight passengers and the driver in each. The roof is down in good weather, and the coach is very comfortable in all kinds of weather.


Salums
Charming forest trails run to Salums (6 km from Flims), a delightful village with a cozy restaurant at an elevation of 1,015 m, and past the beautiful Lake Cauma at the center of the forest. Both treks take around one hour. Travelers can also hike to Conn, which offers a splendid view of Vorderrhein Gorge.
