The best option is to fly to Berne and then continue by train to Frutigen station. Other flight opportunities are: Basel Euro Airport, Geneva Airport and Zurich Airport. Driving is also an option.


Reaching Adelboden:

By car:
Depending on your departure point, take the motorway A1 Zurich-Berne (or motorway A2 Basel-Berne, or motorway A12 Lausanne-Berne), then continue on motorway A6 Berne-Spiez, until you get to the main road for Frutigen, which will also take to Adelboden.


By train:
Get a train or flight to Bern. Then continue in the train to Frutigen through Spiez (BLS to Brig). A bus is regularly available from there to Adelboden.



Reaching Frutigen:

By car:
Take the motorway A1 Zurich-Berne (or motorway A2 Basel-Berne, or motorway A12 Lausanne-Berne), then continue on motorway A6 Berne-Spiez and head on the main road for Frutigen.


By train:
Get a train or flight to Bern. Then continue in the train to Frutigen through Spiez (BLS to Brig).

Reaching Lenk:

By car:
Drive to Berne via the A1 motorway from Zurich, or the A2 motorway from Basle. Reaching Berne, continue on the A6 motorway to Thun/ Spiez and then turn to the Zweisimmen exit before Spiez and head on the country road into the Simmental. From Zweisimmen, drive to the left on the roundabout for the exit to Lenk.


By train:
Flight or train to Bern. Change with the train to Spiez (BLS or SBB), then the one to Zweisimmen (MOB - Montreux Oberland Bahn), and finally the branch line to Lenk.

Take the train from Geneva to Montreux and then change to Zweisimmen. Great views over. Finally the branch line to Lenk.



Reaching Achseten:

By car:
the best way is to drive to Frutigen and take, as described above, and continue to Adelboden - Achseten is quite close on your way.


By train:
Get a train or flight to Bern. Then continue in the train to Frutigen through Spiez (BLS to Brig). A bus is regularly available from there to Adelboden.
