Davos is a charming town and an excellent winter resort in the Swiss Alps, and one with a very lucrative property market. It offers marvelous slopes, ski lifts, a large number of convenience stores, a myriad of bars and restaurants, an exciting nightlife, a golf course, spa, cinema, outdoor ice rinks and many other amenities. This charming town is located in the canton of Graubünden, eastern Switzerland, on the banks of the Landwasser River. It hosts an annual ice hockey tournament, the Spengler Cup. Davos is also famous for its climate, which doctors claim can help heal patients with lung disease. Its reputation as a ski resort began to form as far back as 1988, when Arthur Conan Doyle wrote an article about skiing in the area.
