Davos is internationally regarded as a "Winter Sports' Metropolis". Located in the Grissons region of Switzerland, near the borders with Austria and Italy, the town lies along a valley situated between the mountains. On each side, these mountains have been developed into five separate ski regions where visitors will find demanding and difficult slopes rating from intermediate to expert, wild and long runs for the cruiser and big, and wide runs for the beginner.

The ski area statistics are quite impressive: 5 mountains with more than 300 km of marked runs, a lift capacity of 64,421 persons per hour, The Europe's longest ski run from the Weissfluhgipfel (9460') down to Kublis (2680') with a 6780' vertical drop and almost 8 miles in length.
