Reaching Arosa:

Arosa resort is reachable by both road and rail via Chur. The most convenient airport is Zurich.


By car:
From Zurich International Airport take the A-11 motorway and drive south. It goes through the city and will take you to the A3, which goes to Chur. From Chur follow the signs to Arosa. The trip along the twisty road from Chur to Arosa is a bit difficult and takes about 45 minutes, while the overall driving from Zurich to the resort takes about 2 hours and is pretty quicker than the train.

By train:
From Zurich International Airport take the train to Chur. At Chur change on the Arosa train. There is a separate outside platform for the Arosa train at Chur station. Be informed that Arosa makes part of the SBB Snow and Rail ticket scheme, but it is mandatory to make CHF 5 deposit for the lift ticket. Money is restored at the railway station on the way back.
