Disentis is easily reached by car or regular railway transport though transfers will be needed for the second. It is recommended that you fly to Zurich and then take the train or continue by car.

By car:
Coming from Zurich, head along the A1 Motorway and then switch to Sargans A3. Soon you will have to continue along the A13, which heads towards Landquart, Chur and finally Disentis.

Coming from Italy take the road from Lugano to Biasco, which will take you over Lukmanier. Following the signs you will be in Disentis in no time.


By train:
Fly to Zurich and take the train to Chur. There you must switch to another train to Disentis. The railway lines of Rhaetischen and Matterhorn Gotthard also meet at Disentis.


By plane:
The most convenient airport is Zurich.
