The holiday village of Disentis, a part of the Graubünden canton, is set at an altitude of 1,130 – 1,440 metres within a wonderful area of mountains, lakes and a river. Summer activities

Winter activities
Disentis beckons you to use the ski slopes, once the snow covers the majestic Oberalp Mountains. The whole Gotthard Oberalp Arena includes 130 kilometres of well-maintained ski pistes with excellent conditions also for backcountry skiing adherents. For those who are not confident enough on the slope there are wide pistes to make them practise eagerly and feel safe. With the cable car you can reach the Caischavedra skiing area, offering 60 kilometres of great terrain, set at 3,000 metres above the sea-level. Of course, there are also attractions provided for the snowboarders – the gorgeous half pipe and fun park. Also, a toboggan run ensures, at its length of 3,5 kilometres, a lot of fun for young and old.

It's worth mentioning that this is the area of the 57- kilometre long Gotthard Base Tunnel, which is the longest tunnel in the world, yet in construction. The region hides many other wonderful surprises for you to discover during your time spent in Disentis-Sedrun.
