Scuol is an excellent ski resort ensuring optimal skiing conditions. The Motta Naluns ski region, at 2146 m above sea level and lifts reaching to an elevation of 2800 m, offers a myriad of ski runs for beginners and intermediates. Families can take snowboarding classes at the local school, the oldest and most renowned in all of Europe. There is a panoramic 3-km cross-country ski track at 2 150 meters above sea level. This track starts at Motta Naluns station, which is accessible by cable car. After the strenuous workout you can relax at the modern sauna complex in the center of Scuol. It offers a large number of pools and facilities, among which indoor and outdoor Finnish baths. There are warm and hot rooms, massages, vapor baths, mineral plunge pools and other amenities.
