Driving from Geneva:
Gstaad is located at 159 km from Geneva and is reachable within 02h07'.
On exiting Geneve, take Route De Meyrin via Avenue Louis Casai and turn right to A1/E25/E62 for 58 km.
After passing close to Nyon and Morges, head towards Exit 17 to Bern / Neuchatel / Simplon / Grand-Saint-Bernard / Lausanne-Nord / Lausanne-Crissier and Exit 19 / Fribourgh / Simplon / Grand-Saint-Bernard / Vevey / Montreux / Lausanne-Nord.
Close to Lausanne, take A9/E62 for 48 km and on passing by Montreux, take the Exit 17/Aigle/Ollon/Les Mosses/Vionnaz towards Les Mosses/Pillon/Leysin/Les Diablerets/ Ollon/Villars/Aigle.
Then, take road 9 for 0.8 km to Route De Lausanne and pass Aigle after 1.6 km. Along Route De Lausanne, take Avenue Des Glariers and at the roundabout's fourth exit continue along Avenue Des Ormonts.
Turn right to road 11 for 43 km and after passing by Fontanney, at Saanen, take the first exit at the roundabout and continue along Gstaadstrasse.
On exiting Saanen, continue along Ebnit to enter Gstaad.
Driving from Zurich/Bern:
Gstaad is located at 204 km from Zurich, reachable within 02h37' by car and at 93km from Bern, reachable within 01h33'.
On exiting Zurich, turn right to A3 towards Bern/Basel for 22 km and after passing Dietikon, Neuenhof and Baden, take Exit 53 towards Bern/Aarau?Maegenwil.
Then, take A1 for 92 km and after passing close to Buchs, Zofingen and Olten, take Exit 37 towards Interlaken/Thun/Bern-Ostring/Bern-Wankdorf.
Take A6 for 41 km and after Bern and Thun, head towards exit 18/Zweisimmen/Wimmis.
On passing by to Einigen, close to Wimmis, take road 11 for 43 km.
On passing Saanen, at 11/Saanenmoeserstrasse, take the roundabout's second exit and continue along Gstaadstrasse.
Take Ebnit to exit Saanen and to arrive in Gstaad.
Driving from Turin:
Gstaad is located at 258 km from Turin and is reachable within 03h14' by car.
From Torino Autostrada, take A4/E64 for 3.5 km towards Tangenziale/Aosta/T1/T2/T4/Trafori/Padana Superiore and Tangenziale/Aosta/T1/Monte Bianco/E27/T2/Gran San Bernardo.
Then, head towards Aosta/T1/Monte Bianco/E27/T2/ Gran San Bernardo.
Close to Turin, take A5 for 98 km towards Aosta/T1/Monte Bianco/E27/T2/ Gran San Bernardo.
Take the exit towards E27/T2/ Gran San Bernardo/Aosta and close to Aosta, take E27 for 7.5 km.
Take SS27/E27 for 16 km, pass by Arliod and take E27/T2 for 12 km.
After passing by saint-Oyen, enter into Swiss and switch to 21/E27 for 42 km.
On passing by Liddes, take the exit towards Lausanne/Simplon/Sion/Martigny-Fully/E62.
Then, take E27 for 4.5 km towards Lausanne/Bern/Vevey/E62/A9 and switch to A9/E27/E62 for 26 km.
On passing close to Monthey, take Exit 17 towards Aigle/Les Mosses/Vionnaz/Evian and 11/Les Mosses/Pillon/Leysin/Les Diablerets/Aigle.
Then, take 9 for 1.6 km and Route de Lausanne. On passing Aigle along Route de Lausanne, take Avenue Des Glariers and at the roundabout, take the 4th exit to continue along Avenue des Ormonts.
On exiting Aigle, turn right to 11 for 43 km and pass by Fontanney and Saanen.
At the roundabout, take the first exit to continue along Gstaadstrasse.
Take Ebnit to exit Saanen and to arrive in Gstaad.
By Rail/Bus:
From Zurich International Airport, it is a three-and-a-half-hour train ride to Gstaad. Rental cars are also available. Geneva doesn't have so many convenient train connections, with the three-hour train ride being longer than the driving, but offers a wider range of car rentals.
From Geneva, take a train to Montreux and transfer trains for Saanen/Gstaad. From Zurich, take international train connection to Spiez and transfer for Zweisimmen. In Zweisimmen, change trains for Gstaad. Gstaad is also a good location for train excursions to Montreux, Geneva, Lausanne, Interlaken and Bern, all within approximately two hours by train.
