Engelberg resort is located in the central part of Switzerland, at only 90 km From Zurich. The best option to get there is flying to Zurich International Airport and continuing by rail afterwards. If you travel by car, driving is also a popular option.

By car:
Coming from Zurich, take the Zurich Bypass Autobahn A20 and continue on A4 and A14 to Lucerne. Then take the A2 until you get to the Route 374. From there turn at the Engelberg exit, which goes to the resort.

By train:
There are two trains every hour that travel from Zurich to Engelberg. The journey takes you via Lucerne and lasts about 2 hours and 40 minutes. Driving is twice quicker.

Depending on your departure point other options are also available. Trains to Lucerne leave from other cities in Switzerland. There are suitable connections from Basle for instance.
