The most convenient airport is Zurich. Transportation opportunities are also available from Geneva and Bern.

Reaching Saas Fee

By car:
If driving, keep in mind that you will have to leave you car outside of the town, as it is completely traffic-free. Coming from Zurich, take the A3 when going out of town, then get on the A1. When you are close to Berne take the A12 and then the A9, that goes near Sierre. Take the Talstrasse, then Kantonstrasse and when you get near Stalden, drive on towards Einsten. Then turn right and you will soon be at Saas Fee.

By train:
Landing at Zurich, take the train to Brig, via Bern and Spiez. The train passes through the Lotschberg tunnel. When you get to Brig, continue in the post bus to Saas Fee.



Reaching Saas Grund:

By car:
Take the road from Zurich or Basel to Bern, then pass through the Kandersteg-Goppenstein on the car-transporting train. Drive on to Gampel, Visp and finally follow the signs to Saas Grund.

By train:
Landing at Zurich, take the train to Brig, via Bern and Spiez. The train passes through the Lotschberg tunnel. Get off the train at Brig and continue by bus. If you are coming from Geneva, take the train to Sion and then to Visp. From Visp you will have to take the post bus to the resort.



Reaching Saas Almagell

By car:
Follow the above described directions. After Saas Fee, follow the signs to Saas Almagell.

By train:
Follow the directions above. When you get to Brig, take the post bus. It goes via Saas Grund, then Saas Fee and few km down the valley Saas Almagell is reached.
