Reaching Flumserberg

Zurich is the closest and most convenient airport.

By car:
Landing at Zurich, take the Zurich - Chur highway and turn at the Flums exit. It will take you to the resort. The journey from Zurich takes about 1 hour and 20 minutes.

By train:
Traveling by rail, you must get on the train to Ziegelbrucke and make the connection with the one to Unterterzen. It will take you the base of the gondola that brings you around the resort area.



Reaching Locarno

The resort town of Locarno is located in the southern part of Switzerland, at 211 km from Zurich and at 297km from Geneva.

By car:
The area of Lago Maggiore, in which Locarno is set, can be easily reached by road. Take the A2 highway (Basel to Chiaso) and turn at the exit Bellinzona South. Locarno is accessible through the Simplon Pass, as well as from Northern Italy, if you take the road along the Lake Maggiore.

By train:
Direct trains are available from Zurich. The rail trip takes about 3 hours and 10 minutes. Train options also exist from Geneva, via Domodossola, but the trip takes a bit longer - 4 hours and 35 minutes.



Reaching Lugano

By air Lugano is pretty easy to reach. Flying is possible to both - Lugano and Milan. International flights, especially from France, Italy, England and Germany, land at Lugano International Airport. Milan airport is at 40 minutes driving and convenient bus and train links to Lugano are available.

By car:
Lugano benefits from the motorway axis, which assures direct connection between Northern Europe and the Mediterranean. If you drive from Milan, take the motorway Laghi A9 heading to San Gottardo. You can also take the A8, direction to Varese-Stabio. Drivers are recommended to turn at the Lugano Sud exit. If you come from Zurich, drive along the A2 motorway, direction San Gottardo - Chiasso - Italy. Turn at the Lugano Nord exit.

By train:
Regular train services from Zurich and Milan. The trip will take you respectively 3 hours and 40 minutes. Geneva has also rail connection to Lugano, though travelers must note that coming from Geneva via Zurich or Locarno is faster and more convenient.
