The winter sports area of Flumserberg is located high above Lake Walensee on a magnificently positioned terrace. The Leist on the Flumserberg is legendary and the après-ski atmosphere buzzes with enthusiasm for this terrific descent. Even the journey up on the chairlift is an experience. Once having reached the top, skiers just enjoy the wonderful panorama with vistas to the Churfirsten before venturing onto the black piste. Crack skiers are attracted by the countless drifts, while carvers would prefer the well prepared piste.
Flumserberg also offers an animal park/zoo, diving school and a swimming pool, as well as a disco and a handful of snow pubs and ski huts to ensure jolly sociability.
Also, the nearby village of Flums, a gateway to Flumserberg, offers many sights, including a number of chapels and ruins, as well as he Gräpplang vineyard with its fine wine offering a happy hour to lovers of wine and culture.
