St Moritz hardly needs an introduction. This expensive, trendy and glamorous resort is, simply put, the place to be seen. It doesn’t retain the feel of an alpine resort, but rather exudes a sense of exclusivity. It boasts a superb location near the lowest of several lakes at the foot of the majestic snow-capped summit Piz Bernina. Additionally, some of the restaurants in the resort offer magnificent views. The variety of off-slope activities is endless - polo, golf, horse racing, cricket on snow, many festivals, and the famous Cresta Run among others. Most of the pistes are intermediate, with off-slope terrain available for experts.
