Reaching Crans Montana

The resort is located in the Valais canton, at 180 km east from Geneva. The most practical way to reach it is flying to Geneva (Geneva Cointrin International Airport) and then taking the train or post bus to the resort. The route to Crans Montana goes via Sion or Sierre.


By car:
Traveling by road, follow the A1 and then A9 to Lausanne. Take the first exit to Sierre. The trip takes about 1 hour and 30 minutes.

By train:
Trains for Sion and Sierre leave regularly from Geneva. From each of these cities post buses take passengers to Crans Montana resort area. The bus trip takes 30 minutes. Funicular train to Montana is also available from Sierre, and transportation to the other villages in the resort is easy - by bus, taxi, self-drive or even walking.
