The nearest and most convenient airport is Geneva Cointrin. Recommended option is taking the train or bus from Geneva to the resort area. Flying to Zurich is also possible, but further transportation takes longer - four to five hours by bus or train. Another good option is landing at the nearby Sion airport, which is located at only one hour driving from Leukerbad.

By car:
From Geneva drive east around the Lake Geneva. Drive on the A1 and A9 autobahns. Then take the route to Susten and continue to Leukerbad following the signs. Coming from France, drive along the A9 Lausanne autobahn until you reach Martigny. Continue on the A9 to Susten and then drive north to Leukerbad.

By train:
The resort can only be accessed by road. Train connection from Geneva will take you to Leuk. From there regular bus services to Leukerbad are available. The rail journey from Geneva to Leuk takes about three hours.
