Saas-Grund is situated at the heart of the picturesque Saas Valley, at the healthy altitude of 1500 metres. You can enjoy the scenic views to the whole area by taking the gondola-lift up to the Kreuzboden (2400 m) and Hohsaas (3100 m). Kreuzboden is a place with a large number of attractions for the children like "Hohsi-Land" with its many different games for kids and a small zoo. The photographers will have the great chance to take photographs of the famous Kreuzboden lake, with the Mischabel mountain chain in the background.
