Tasch is among the lesser-known winter resorts in Switzerland. It is 5 km away from the famous Zermatt resort. The two are connected by the Gornergrat, a cogwheel railroad. Tasch offers one green run, one lift, one snow-park, and 17 km of cross-country trails. The town has seven charming, traditional restaurants.
