The Diablerets is a popular winter resort in the eastern region of Vaud canton. There are 150 km of ski pistes, of which 30 km are for cross-country skiers. There are excellent conditions for snowboarding as well. There are three main ski areas in this resort – Isenau, Meilleret and the Glacier. You will enjoy the convenience of 6 installations and 25 kilometers of runs in Isenau, 30 stations and 75 km of runs in Meilleret, and 25 km of runs and 10 stations on the Glacier. Most of the runs in Isenau are for beginners. You can take a skiing or snowboarding class at the local school. The Meilleret offers ample opportunities for intermediate skiers, and the Glacier – for experts. Diablerets hosts a famous annual event – the International Alpine Film Festival. It is also the venue for an annual Folk Music Festival and an annual Country Music Festival.
